The first stage in tuning for correct arrow flight is to shoot the arrow through thin paper at a distance of 6 to 8 feet. This will give you an idea of how to adjust your nocking point or arrow rest. This will also give you an indication if your arrow is properly spined for the bow. There are additional ways to tune for perfect arrow flight that are included in the instructions.
