Mike S:
I’m a 48 years old, married father of 2 & have lived in Mid-Michigan my entire life. My wife and I have been married for over 22 years. She is an incredible mother & tremendous partner. We have 2 happy, smart, well adjusted, unbelievable children (Jacob 21 & Tess 18) who both attend Oakland University while commuting from home. We have spent to majority of our life as a family in Clarkston, MI. We love to vacation at Disney, spend time together as a family, enjoy the outdoors, and each other.
I spent the first 20 years of my career in the retail automotive business in metro Detroit. For the last 12 years I have transitioned to Auto Dealership consulting and training. From a young age I have been an avid outdoorsman. I have been hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, golfing and enjoying this beautiful state and country my entire life. Bow hunting Whitetail in Northern Michigan in early October, ice fishing for perch and walleye on frozen lakes in February, to kayak fishing with my daughter on a summer evening. The outdoors are always a part of my life.
My father is a two tour Vietnam veteran, 37 1/2 years of DOD service, and a 100% disabled veteran. His service to our country and our family has been an inspiration to my family and I. Ed and Mary Szettella have been married for over 50 years. They are a huge influence on our lives, marriage, children, values, and are the reason I am where I am today.
My daughter and I also participate annually in wreaths across America. We honor fallen solider by placing & later removing wreaths on graves at Holly Veterans Memorial Cemetery. We placed & removed over 200,000 wreaths last year in Holly alone.
